GRalley GReen Pavilion
The Green Pavilion will be open from the start of the GRalley (12 Noon) until Sundown (7 PM) and will feature multiple environmentally concerned organizations - from the local to the national level. Following is a partial list of organizations participating in the 2009 GRalley Green Pavilion. I-Go Cars – Car sharing offers reasonable pay-as-you-use pricing with many convenient locations. I-Go is the only local non-profit car sharing organization in Chicago.
Loyola CUERP (Center for Urban Environmental Research and Policy) — Offers practical solutions with biodiesel fuel, bike sharing on campus and environmental vision.
Mindful Metropolis – We are Chicago's green magazine focusing on sustainable living, natural health, local/organic foods, alternative medicine, personal growth, and spirituality.
Shaklee Eco-Friendly Products – Creating healthier lives through earth friendly nutrition, beauty and home products.
Slow Food Chicago – We seek to create dramatic and lasting change in our local food system to ensure equity, sustainability, and pleasure in the food we eat. Our mission is to achieve this by connecting eaters to the Chicago region's biodiverse and sustainable producers through organizational partnerships, publications, and social events.
St. Gertrude Parish Environmental Stewardship Group — Seeking to facilitate opportunities for a faithful response to the threat to the sustainability of the planet through education, action, building relationships with others, and deepening awareness of the interconnectedness of God's creation.
US Green Building Council – The USGBC-Chicago Chapter leads the regional transformation of the built environment to become ecologically sustainable, profitable, and healthy. We acheive this through education, advocacy, and collaboration.
